Stoller Family Estate 2012 Pinot Noir Rosé

August 26, 2013

Appellation: Dundee Hills

Earlier this year, we conducted a tasting of nearly 100 Northwest rosés. What we learned is Oregon Pinot Noir can result in some of the best rosés anywhere - and here is further evidence. This is a stunningly beautiful pink wine with aromas of white strawberry, apricot, clove and rose petals. On the palate, it provides flavors of rhubarb-strawberry jam, strawberry, cranberry and pomegranate, all backed with bright, lingering acidity. Rated "Outstanding" by Great Northwest Wine. (14.1 percent alc.)

Price: $20

Cases produced: 500

Food matches: Pair this with chicken, pork, seafood or linguine.
